Some pictures submitted by keen photographer Bob of Lhanbryde, Moray.  Two red squirrels live in the woods North of the village and regularly visit the gardens there.
Three pictures from Mairi of Blair Atholl taken in March 2007.  Four red squirrels regularly visit the garden to raid the bird feeders.  These pictures show two of them.  They are not camera-shy and can be watched from only a few feet away.

A photograph of an English "cousin" on Brownsea Island taken by Philip of PBE Systems Ltd.  The island location means that they are safe from Greys.
Some pictures from Inverness. The first one from Ian shows a squirrel on a larch tree at Stratherrick Park.  The other three from Mike were taken at The Dell, Aultnaskiach.
These pictures were taken by Daniel of the Glens Red Squirrel Group in the Glens of Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Some pictures from Dunblane, taken by George.  The squirrel successfully invaded the squirrel-proof bird feeders and was bold even when approached.  The greyish winter coat seems to be coming in even though it is only late August!
